R&R Electronics
in collaboration with Rita Mačiliūnaitė (Lithuania)
Experimental classIcal/pop/punk/show/PR music band members Ruta and Rita met in 2006 and started their creative collaboration with the projects always focused 'AGAINST' - against classical composition school, against performance image, against society, women's family role, the definition of right and wrong art, and against their own 'against'. Their works include songs (album Griebk Už Širdies), music videos, music/theatre/dance projects (Fly Birdie Fly, Doublemo, Mr.Sun), and are always entirely made all by themselves. Both professional composers, they drag themselves into performing, acting, filming, editing and staging their ideas. R&R had a number of performances in Lithuania (Music Laboratory Network, The PROCESS, Druskomanija festival, Operomanija summer camp) and abroad (Aldeburgh Festival, Dartington Summer School, UK, concert in Vienna, Austria), and were Artists in Residency at DAR (LT), where they created their 'Sound Oh Stone, Sound' installation. Listen to R&R Electronics here, here and here. And read about here and here

KLIUDŽIAU
in collaboration with Simona Biekšaitė (stage design), Irina Lavrinovič (actress), Mykolas Budraitis (video) and Kasharas Biliunas Kliudziau (cat actor) and others
KLIUDZIAU was born in 2009 with the artistic vision of equality of all elements and focus on the idea of collaboration, rather than artistic identity. Their creations are between genres, existing at once as chamber opera, mono theatre, multimedia performance and audio-visual installation. The group expands in different artistic situations. Lithuanian performers and sound director Christian Francois (Belgium) joined to collaborate on development and creation of their first work ‘Kliudziau’ (produced by Operomanija, presented at NOA 2010; Druskomanija 2010 festivals, LT, watch the trailer here).
The second work, multimedia opera ‘ID’, highly increased the use of technical equipment and team members, including theatre director Yana Ross (produced by Operomanija, presented at NOA 2011; Tbilisi International Theatre Festival 2011 - watch the trailer here).
In 2012, KLIUDZIAU was invited to coOPERAtion laboratory in Aarhus, to explore their interest in experiential learning though collaboration with 11 new members from the Danish music scene (produced by coOperations lab, result presented at Godsbanen, DK, watch the trailer here).
